Few plant species offer such a wide variety in shape and color as the Caladium. Here not only the leaf color differs also in size and variance within the genus is huge. Within the genus Caladium there are about 20 species. The Caladium so popular with us are in the end hybrids from the Caladium Bicolor.
So there is not only currently already a wide range of different species, almost every year new hybrids appear on the market.
